Mision Consuela...children of GOD

Day 2 at work and it never ceases to impress me. The work provided by Juan, the pastor, is priceless. He works for free, providing emotional and spiritual support to the poor who are dying.

Amy and I were able to some doctoring and pleased to actually do the consultation in broken Spanish...with alot of animation ..hehehe....

Its emotionally taxing to see the state of poverty ...but enlightening for the soul..

We visited an 18 yr old boy with a brain tumour who was left paraplegic at home with no bed... thanks to Mision Consuela...he has a comfortable place to stay..

We visited an elderly couple who only had old bread for food, living amongst sewage pipes and waste. Juan gave them some money for food.

They welcome us with smiles and are eternally grateful for the little advise or support that we give.

It restores our faith in humanity to see people like Juan working for the poor of San Jose.
